That’s why we created our Popup STEAM Maker Space Program, coming directly to elementary schools during school hours!

Why a Pop-Up Makerspace Program?

Innovation for Youth provides a convenient opportunity for students to engage in enriching Makerspace experiences at their school site.  Many schools see the value of offering Makerspace enrichment experiences, but the complexity of offering such programming can make it difficult to resource such programs in house.  We take care of the complexity of creating and implementing a temporary makerspace and store all the material off site. 

Why STEAM?

STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. Our program merges these disciplines into captivating hands-on activities that inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in elementary school aged learners.

What We Offer:

– Engaging Activities: Our curated activities blend science, technology, engineering, math, and art to spark excitement and creativity.

– Expert Guidance: Our experienced STEAM facilitator sets up a space in such a way that students can jump into rewarding and challenging STEAM activities fostering innovation, collaboration and exploration.  The activities are chosen so that students can do the activities often with minimal assistance from our facilitator, however our facilitator is there to support, supervise and maintain the space throughout the programs. 

– All-Inclusive: We bring all the necessary supplies, ensuring hassle-free participation for both students and schools.  Your school provides the space and the tables to run our program and we take care of the rest. 

– Flexible Scheduling: Schools can easily integrate our program into their lunchtime schedule, offering students the opportunity to have fulfilling and fun lunchtime experiences. 

-Our Team: Our staff is a team of experienced childcare professionals.  We also can work with your school’s volunteers and staff to have more eyes to supervise the makerspace and hands to assist students.
